My name is Charles Mohr. I work for a financial institution in Massachusetts called Rockland Trust. My education journey went from attending Archbishop High School, to pursuing engineering degrees at Daniel Webster College, completing a bachelor’s degree in business administration at SNHU, to now pursuing my MBA at SNHU. I have been extremely fortunate to be surrounded by my family who encourage me every day as well as an awesome group of friends! I enjoy playing video games, card games, and most recently began running!

I am running to support the Doug Flutie Jr. foundation to support efforts in battling Autism. When I first began running in April 2023, I weighed 277 pounds and never in my life of me would have considered running. My coworker Sarah encouraged me to try it and has kept supporting me to try new things including my first pair of athletic sneakers. This also brought to light that my efforts to improve my health can also support others through foundations and raising money. Last year I ran the Falmouth Road Race in supporting the American Red Cross through the bank’s programs. It was such a great experience that led me to seek out my next great challenge and having discussed it with Sarah identified that the Disney Half Marathon appeared to be a great milestone. Although I was not able to secure a ticket getting into the race, I regained my confidence and explored what options were available that led me with supporting this awesome foundation! The community has been nothing but supportive and informative with what efforts we as a community can do to battle autism.
As I head into my 2nd annual Falmouth Road Race, I have lost more than 35 pounds and have decreased my average mile from twenty minutes to eleven. I hope you will consider contributing and thank you for reading my story!
