Jake and I have been running together for over 9 years. Last year we ran for an amazing organization; Doug Flutie Jr.'s Foundation for Autism. In 2024 we raised over $1,300 and we are hoping to do the same this year.
Why we run
Why did we chose Doug Flutie Jr., Foundation for Autism? Because so many people are affected by autism! Most of us know someone who is on the spectrum. To those who are high functioning and able to live their lives to the fullest, to those that will need daily care for the rest of their lives.
This foundation helps all members of the autism community live their lives to the fullest. They organize events through out the US that allow people affected with autism to feel included, respected and engaged in their community.
