It's no secret that I'm a big fan of Allen ISD. One way I support our district is by volunteering for the Foundation for Allen Schools.
The foundation does amazing things for our district through programs like
- tuition reimbursement for teachers
- scholarships for seniors
- classroom grants (my favorite!)
It's such a joy to see what an impact the foundation has, whether it be by sponsoring programs or supplies for classrooms through grants (yay) or helping graduated Eagles further their education. None of this would be possible without donations from local businesses, awesome community members, and our amazing staff.
Allen ISD's teachers, staff, and administrators donate around $100,000 each year to the foundation! This is a testament to both their dedication to education and the importance of the foundation's work.
