Join the Women's Empowerment Group (W/E)

 Empowering Young Women, Building Stronger Communities

As we embark on our third year of the Women’s Empowerment Group (W/E), we continue our mission to support the activities of the Boys & Girls Club, with a particular focus on empowering girls and providing valuable resources for both our youth and staff. We are proud to say that the group has already grown to over 25 dedicated members, and we would love for you to be a part of this impactful community!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has already joined and contributed to the success of W/E. Your involvement is deeply appreciated!

In 2023, the group played a pivotal role in organizing and advising for the first-ever BGC Women & Girls Conference on May 11 at our Spruce Street Clubhouse. This event brought together women from the community to lead workshops, facilitate conversations, and engage in activities that inspired and empowered young girls.

Why Get Involved?

• Empower the Next Generation: Help expose young girls at the Club to diverse role models who reflect strength, professionalism, and resilience.

• Mentor Young Girls: Support and guide tween and teen girls from the Club, helping them develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed.
• Create Positive Change: Champion girl-focused fundraising initiatives and contribute to the growth of impactful programs.
• Diversify Leadership: Help create a pipeline to diversify the Board of Directors and Club donors, ensuring the Club’s future is as vibrant and inclusive as the community we serve.
