Every 21 seconds, a child in East Africa loses their life due to contaminated water.
After traveling to Uganda, our lives were forever changed. We saw firsthand the joy and gratitude that clean water brings to a community. But we also saw the daily reality many children still face.
Children often walk 3–6 kilometers every day just to collect water. This journey can take hours, keeping them away from school, homework, and time to simply be kids. The water they collect is often unsafe, leading to preventable diseases. Girls are especially impacted, as they are usually responsible for gathering water for their families.
That’s why we are participating in Walk4Water.
Our goal is to help raise funds to restore a broken water well for a community in Uganda that is still waiting for clean, safe water.
