Motivated by the love of Christ, Alpha Grand Rapids exists to promote abundant life by transforming hearts, enriching lives, and transforming generations. 

I have been with Alpha for over 5 years, ever since I first started out as an intern. I didn't plan on Alpha becoming such a huge part of my life, but after spending a semester meeting with women who were in difficult situations and desperately needed someone to listen, encourage, and support them, I was HOOKED! I continued voluntering for about a year and a half, until I was asked to take over the Walk for Life event for the first time in 2014. After that, I like to say I just tricked Alpha into giving me more and more responsibility until they couldn't help but hire me full-time! :) 

I am honored to serve as the Director of Community Relations for Alpha, which means I oversee the admin department, run events and create/implement marketing alongside my awesome team, facilitate Volunteer Training, and speak about Alpha anywhere and everywhere that will let me! I LOVE introducing people to the work being done here at Alpha and helping people figure out how they can be involved - whether it's by donating, volunteering, praying, or spreading the word about what's happening here.
