Parking

There is limited parking available at the Willow Glen Branch Library, if you’ve been there, you know it’s a small parking lot. We recommend street parking in the neighborhood or parking nearby in the Willow Glen downtown area.

Since this is a wine/beer tasting event there will be a lot of alcohol flowing. Our best suggestion for locals is to walk, get dropped off, or take an Uber/Lyft. This is a great chance to model appropriate behavior to your driving-age teen by asking them to be your designated driver!

The Silent Auction

We welcome you to bid on items all afternoon! This is a fundraiser and we are earning money so we can continue to enhance the academic experience of the students at WGMS and WGHS. This is our largest fundraiser of the year and will help determine our spending budget.

We have over 150 items to choose from, at every budget. Don’t see anything you want to take home? Consider supporting us in other ways by attending a Fun With Friends event, or making a direct donation.

The Silent Auction will end at 6:00pm and you can pick up any items you may have won beginning at 6:30pm at the Auction Checkout Desk.

Tasting

As a token of our appreciation, when you arrive you will be given a wine and/or beer glass which is yours to keep and use as you visit our array of Tasting Partners to sample their products. We also have lots of food, so come hungry!
