I’m Ed Ritter, a longtime Charlotte resident, husband, father, and business leader. My wife, Marlene, and I have lived in Dilworth since 2000, and our son, Jake, is currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin. Professionally, I lead the Risk and Compliance Practice at Croixstone Consulting, and before that, I spent years at Wells Fargo and Bank of America.
Beyond my career, I’ve always been passionate about giving back to the community. Over the past 20 years, I’ve served on the Executive Committees of the Board for SwimMac Carolina, Charlotte Preparatory School, and Veritas Community School. Last year, I had the privilege of working with Carolina Breast Friends to support their goal-setting, strategy review, and fundraising efforts. This year, I am proud to take an even more active role as a Big Wig.
Breast cancer has deeply impacted my family. Two of my four sisters, Ann Ritter Wells and Amy Ritter, have fought this disease. Seeing their journeys firsthand has given me a strong appreciation for organizations like Carolina Breast Friends, which provide crucial support, guidance, and a sense of community to those facing breast cancer.
For me, being a Big Wig is about amplifying the impact of CBF—raising awareness, rallying resources, and ensuring that Survivors and Thrivers have access to the support they need.
Where You'll See Me in My Wig
I spend most of my time in Dilworth, Uptown, and traveling, so expect to see me proudly wearing my pink wig wherever I go.
