I am Woodson Bradley—a mom, wife, business owner, and NC Senator. As a domestic violence and assault survivor, I have spent the last two decades fighting for women and children, helping them find safety and rebuild their lives. I am an active Rotarian, a speaker in CMS schools on Teen Dating Violence Prevention, and a fierce advocate for the causes that matter most to me.
This year, I am stepping up as a Big Wig to bring awareness to Carolina Breast Friends and to support the fierce warriors fighting breast cancer.
Breast cancer has personally touched my family—my mother-in-law, Carolyn Bradley, is a three-time survivor and Thriver, and my husband is a cancer survivor. I’ve seen firsthand how cancer changes lives, and I am here to stand alongside those in the fight, to lift up this cause, and to make sure that no one faces this battle alone.
The only way to fix a problem is to bring attention to it, and bringing attention to the incredible work Carolina Breast Friends does is an honor. This organization walks with people through their diagnosis and treatment with grace, beauty, solutions, and fierce friendship—and I am committed to making sure their name is known far and wide.
Where You'll See Me in My Pink Wig
You’ll find me wearing my pink wig all over town and beyond, including:
• At church, staying connected to my faith and community
• Walking through my neighborhood, bringing awareness with every step
• Teaching at the Harris YMCA, where I lead one of the largest Cardio Dance Classes each week
• At the NC General Assembly in Raleigh, ensuring this cause gets attention at the state level
• At Rotary meetings, CMS schools, and town halls, continuing my advocacy work
How You Can Help
I’m making fundraising fun and interactive. Want to see me take a Pink Wig Pic or record a quick video in a special location? Donate and make your request! With your support, I’ll bring breast cancer awareness wherever I go.
My goal is to get as many people involved as possible—because together, we can make an incredible impact for Survivors and Thrivers.
