I am Erica Millarc, an Argentine native with a passion for travel, languages, and culture. As a ballroom dancer, instructor, and owner of Midtown Ballroom, I spend my days bringing movement and joy to others through dance. When I’m not in the studio, I love to write, immerse myself in creative projects, and spend time with my family—including my wonderful partner, our two incredible kids, and our three beloved cats.
I try to live by the words, “Enjoy the little things in life because one day you will look back and realize they were the big things.” This year, I am embracing that philosophy by wiggin’ out and making a difference for breast cancer Survivors and Thrivers.
My journey with Carolina Breast Friends began years ago through various events and fundraisers, including Dancing with the Stars of Charlotte and even rappelling off tall buildings to raise awareness. Through these experiences, I’ve had the honor of witnessing firsthand the life-changing work that CBF does for those impacted by breast cancer.
Cancer has touched the lives of many of my loved ones, and watching their journeys made me feel helpless at times. But being a Big Wig gives me the opportunity to take action—to raise funds, awareness, and ensure that no one facing breast cancer feels alone.
For me, Wiggin’ Out is about giving someone hope, care, and love at a time when they need it most.
Where You'll See Me in My Pink Wig
You’ll find me and my pink wig dancing all day at Midtown Ballroom. When I’m not teaching, you may spot me:
At a local Starbucks, fueling my day with coffee
Strolling around Uptown, soaking in the energy of the city
Cheering at a Charlotte FC match, supporting our team
Sipping a glass of rosé, keeping it pink for the cause
How You Can Help
I’m calling on my amazing network of friends, dancers, and community members to help me raise funds for Carolina Breast Friends. My strategy? Lean on the incredible fundraisers I know and make giving fun, engaging, and impactful.
If you believe in supporting breast cancer Survivors and Thrivers, join my team, donate, and let’s make a difference together.
