I’m Jay Colston, the lead trainer at MAD CLT, a local sports fanatic, and someone who believes in using my platform to make a difference. When I’m not training clients, working out, or catching a game, you’ll probably find me watching movies, listening to music, or playing Xbox. But this spring, I’ll also be rocking a pink wig—and for a very important reason.
In 2017, my little sister, Akeiba White ("Keba"), was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She fought for two and a half years, but you would never have known she was battling for her life. She remained strong, positive, and full of life until the very end. In 2020, we lost her—but her spirit has never left me.
Being a Big Wig is my way of keeping her memory alive and supporting others who are fighting the same battle. I want to bring awareness, raise funds, and make sure no one facing breast cancer has to go through it alone.
Where You'll See Me in My Pink Wig
I’ll be wearing my pink wig at work at MAD CLT, bringing the energy to my training sessions, and at a music festival in April, making sure this cause gets the attention it deserves.
How You Can Help
My fundraising strategy is simple: spread the word, make it personal, and get as many people involved as possible. I’ll be using my social media platforms and making announcements before and after my workout classes to rally support.
I also have friends who own bars, and I’m working on putting together a fundraising event to make giving back both fun and impactful.
Join my team, donate, and let’s do something meaningful together.
