I live in Monroe, North Carolina with my husband, two daughters and my sweet pup, Max. I have a Son that lives in Mississippi. I am a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. I work at South Piedmont Community College as the Clinical Coordinator in their Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
I was diagnosed with invasive ductal cell carcinoma on November 10, 2024 after a routine mammogram, ultrasound & biopsy. I had surgery on December 10, 2024. I had 12 rounds of chemo & infusions. I rang the chemo bell last week. I will have infusions for the remaining of the year. I will begin radiation late April. I have met so many beautiful warriors on this journey. I have felt God saying you are an Esther. Be brave & courageous. Share your journey and help others. I am ready to share, serve and help other warriors.
