Charlotte, born and raised, and I am SO excited to be a 2026 Big Wig for Carolina Breast Friends!

For the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with the incredible team at Carolina Breast Friends through my role as Social Media Manager at The Agency Angle. I’ve helped tell the stories. I’ve watched the Big Wigs rally their communities. I’ve seen firsthand the impact The Pink House makes every single day.

And this year… I’m stepping into the pink wig myself.

I’m participating in honor of every brave man and woman who has stood up, stared cancer in the eyes, and fought the hard fight.

While I don’t have a personal diagnosis story of my own, I’ve witnessed the strength, vulnerability, and resilience of Survivors and Thrivers through my work with Carolina Breast Friends. I’ve seen how powerful it is when someone realizes they don’t have to walk this journey alone.

In a time when the world can feel heavy, I believe deeply in showing up for communities that need care, compassion, and connection. The Pink House is exactly that — a place where people are met with dignity, support, and understanding.

Being a Big Wig is my way of stepping forward, using my voice, and helping expand that circle of support.
 

I’m a Plaza Midwood girl at heart (shoutout to Chantilly!) and now live in Uptown Charlotte. I grew up tagging along to work with my dad, the CEO of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation, which sparked my lifelong love for the outdoors — hiking, camping, fishing, and anything that gets me into nature.

I’m happiest:

• Creating charcuterie boards and hosting gatherings
• Cooking (Italian family recipes from my mom — the best cook in the world)
• Trying new workout classes (Y2 Yoga and Khali are favorites!)
• Cheering at Charlotte FC games with my boyfriend Neil (yes, PSL owners!)
• Hanging at River Jam at the Whitewater Center
• Grabbing dinner at Rosemont in Elizabeth
• Or bouncing between breweries like OMB and Monday Night Brewing

Fun fact: I actually met my boyfriend, Neil, through Carolina Breast Friends — he was a Big Wig last year. Who knew I’d fall in love with a man in a pink wig?! ?

One of my New Year’s resolutions this year was to get more involved in the things that truly fill my cup, and Carolina Breast Friends is at the very top of that list.

This campaign gives me the opportunity to:

• Rally my community
• Host meaningful events
• Raise awareness
• And remind Survivors and Thrivers that they are never alone

If this year’s theme is about using our superpower for good, then mine is community-building — bringing people together in ways that feel joyful, creative, and full of heart.

You’ll spot me all over Charlotte:

• Walking around Uptown

• At Charlotte FC games

• In yoga studios

• At local breweries

• Hosting events

• And, of course, at The Agency
