I am the proud mother of five incredible children and twelve beautiful grandchildren. Family is the heartbeat of my life. I love crafting, baking, singing, and pouring creativity into everything I do. I am also blessed to work for Synchrony Financial, whose support and partnership over the years have meant so much to me.

My husband and I founded Reflect N Image in honor of our youngest daughter, Mazzanni Burnett. At just 15 years old, Mazzanni survived an anoxic brain injury following an unexpected appendix rupture. Despite the challenges she faces today, her spirit remains bright and unwavering.

The name Reflect N Image came from Mazzanni herself. She always believed that children reflect their parents — their values, their light, their purpose. Because she is now dependent on us, I carry on her mission. I act in her honor. I reflect her strength into the world.

Reflect N Image is more than a nonprofit. It is a legacy of love, resilience, and community.
 

June 20, 2017, is a date forever etched into my soul. It is the day I lost my best friend, my sister in every way that mattered, Sherri Smith Bonner.

Though we weren’t related by blood, she was woven into the fabric of my life. Her strength, laughter, compassion, and unwavering spirit continue to guide me every day.

Through her breast cancer journey, Sherri taught me the importance of vigilance, self-care, and advocacy. She is the reason I remain faithful to my annual breast exams and consistent medical checkups. She is the reason I speak up.

Her love did not end on June 20th. It continues through every life she touched, including mine.

By participating in Wiggin’ Out, I ensure her light never fades.

Being a Big Wig is more than a title. It is a responsibility. A privilege. A deeply personal honor.

To me, it means:

• Carrying the torch for those we’ve lost
• Standing strong for those still fighting
• Educating and empowering those who may not yet know they’re at risk
• Turning grief into action
• Using my voice to save lives

This role allows me to merge two powerful legacies — my daughter’s light and my sister-friend’s strength — into one unified mission of awareness, compassion, and courage.

I lead with my story — honoring Mazzanni and Sherri.
I use my pink wig as a conversation starter.
I engage my family, my Synchrony community, Reflect N Image supporters, and local partners.
I create crafting and baking thank-you gifts for donors.
I host “Wear Pink With Me” days.
I share stories that inspire giving from the heart.

Because when people understand the why, they show up.
