If you know me, then you know my story. If not, let me sum up: I'm a mom and former high school social studies teacher turned public school advocate.
I grew up in Arizona's public schools and while it wasn't easy, I know that I am where I am today because of the incredible experiences I had growing up. Today, my kids are lucky enough to go to school with their friends and our neighbors. But their schools are whoafully underfunded and there are experiences I had that they have not or may not get to have due to that lack of funding. And my kids are some of the luckiest! There are so many kids throughout Arizona who have vast needs and our schools need to be equipped to serve them where they are, in their own community at their local public school.
So you're invited to donate or sign up as a team member and attend our Trivia Night & Dance Party Thursday, December 14 at 6:00 pm. Because Arizona kids need resources and because supporting grassroots organizations like Save Our Schools Arizona are the only way we will get there.
