I'm a sophomore at Winchendon School and I've decided to step up for a cause that's hitting close to home - homelessness in Boston. It's 2023 and the issue is more urgent than ever.
I'm teaming up with my mom, who's been walking for this cause for 8 years straight, on her team, ThriveBMC. We're raising funds for the Boston Medical Center (BMC), an organization that's doing amazing work offering essential medical services to those who need them the most.
But BMC can't do it alone, and that's where we come in. I'm calling on my friends at Winchendon and beyond to join me in this walk. It's not just about raising money raising awareness and making a statement that we care.
