I am proud to participate for the third year in the Winter Walk Boston on Saturday morning, February 11. This important event raises awareness and funds for organizations serving the homeless population in Massachusetts. This year, I am walking in support of The Bridge Over Trouble Water, which provides life-changing services for homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth in Boston. This amazing organization serves 2,000 homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth each year - kids right about my age - who have no other place to go. The Bridge provides more than just shelter and a warm meal; it also helps youth find pathways to education, mental health counseling, career development, transitional living solutions, community support, and more.
My goal is to raise $2,000 for the Walk to benefit The Bridge, and I am really hoping you can help me. For a homeless youth, your donation marks the start of something new. Contributions like yours go straight to programs that provide valuable life skills crucial to building a life of opportunity.
