Winter Walk is a perfect opportunity to show your support for the work that St. Margaret's House does and to walk in solidarity with the women in our community. Winter Walk is a huge annual event that we could not do without the help of our many generous volunteers on the day of the event. This is where you (and your friends) come in. Because as the saying goes "Many hands make light work".
There will be a variety of volunteer roles for this annual fundraiser including snow shoveling before the event (if there is snow), route ambassadors, face painters, cookie bakeing/donating and a clean-up crew after the event. The time frame for volunteering to help with the entire event is 12:15 - 3:30. The actual walk begins at 1:00 PM at St Margaret's House and ends at the South Bend City Church in downtown South Bend. The volunteer roles are broken down into 2-3 hour shifts within this time frame. They are all listed below with embedded registration links and ready to share with all of your friends and anyone else that is interested.
