My WHY - Have you ever had the feeling that you have more to give, that there’s something or someone in life that you should or could be helping; but you weren't, as you just weren't sure where to start or if it would even make a difference? That is what I was struggling with prior to God leading me to onbikes. I knew in my heart that there was more that I could do to make the world a better place, I knew that I Loved children, and I knew that I wanted to contribute something to the life of a child!

Onbikes is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity organization that was born in Tampa six years ago with a very simple goal; to provide bikes to foster/at risk children in the Tampa Bay area during the holiday season. Bikes are a child’s first real opportunity to experience freedom. It also teaches independence while providing a fun, safe, and physical activity. Riding a bike is one of the most grown-up things a kid can do, as they learn to operate on their own. There’s a special bond between kids and bikes that can never be broken! Riding a bike is a rite of passage, a chance to explore. Bikes represent fun, freedom, and fresh air – everything that’s good about being a kid! Our charity works alongside city officials, family service organizations, and raise funds to make our mission of bringing bicycles to kids a reality! What I love about this opportunity to serve my community is the simple and deliverable goal of making a child’s life better!
