In November 2020, our lives changed forever. Our son Blake was diagnosed with severe Hemophilia A. As brand-new parents, we were completely unprepared for what followed.
Blake experienced days of continuous bleeding that doctors struggled to control. In just three days, we were transferred between two different hospitals, desperately searching for answers. When the bleeding still wouldn’t stop, Blake was life-flighted to Pittsburgh for specialized care. Watching our tiny baby fight something we couldn’t see — and couldn’t fix — was the most terrifying experience of our lives.
Severe Hemophilia A is a lifelong bleeding disorder that requires ongoing treatment, constant monitoring, and specialized care. What started as devastation has turned into determination. We are committed to giving Blake the safest, fullest life possible — but we can’t do it alone.
