Fifty years ago, a small group of visionaries believed something bold and deeply human: that mental health care should be accessible, compassionate, and rooted in the communities it serves. In 1976, that belief became what is now known as West Texas Counseling & Guidance. 

The next chapter of WTCG will be written with the same courage that launched it -- by people who believe that mental health care is not optional, that communities are stronger when care is accessible, and that hope is worth investing in.
