When I was diagnosed with Lupus in August of 2019 I did not know anything about Lupus at all. Overtime I have researched and studied the illness to see how to stay on top of it so I can remain healthy for myself and my two boys. I have quietly dealt with my illness for the past few years and it is now time for me to live out loud. Lupus is an illness that affects many people, especially African American women. I want my testimony to help others and my awareness to prevent others from waiting so long to get help like I did. Let's walk, donate, and TAKE CHARGE OF LUPUS together!
