In 2000, as a young educator full of life and ambition, I was diagnosed with Lupus. It was a scary time in my life. I didn't know if I would live or die. I didn't know if I would be able to sustain a career. I am a mother who has accomplished a number of career goals with many more to come. So, I am a Lupus WARRIOR who has turned purple rain into PURPLE REIGN!
