About Us

White Tank Mountains Conservancy (WTMC), a 501(c)(3) organization, was established in 2014 by several regional municipal, private, and nonprofit sector leaders to inspire all to conserve and enjoy the natural and cultural resources of the White Tank Mountains, promoting sustainable economic development and quality of life for its residents while conserving an important regional wildlife corridor. WTMC addresses the impacts of urbanization around the White Tank Mountains, a crown jewel of the West Valley, and prevents the potential loss of its unique and irreplaceable resources. No other organization exists that enhances the quality of life for West Valley residents quite like the way that WTMC does, focusing on the community's needs to ensure the White Tank Mountains stay wild, alive, and thriving.
