Walk the Walk 2019 ○ Residential Collaborators

I've been with NuPath since 2005 and it seems like only yesterday (well, maybe a few more days than that) when I started. There are many reasons I've been here this long but maybe the most important is really quite simple. When I was in college I had the opportunity to go to India. While there I learned a lot about myself and people as a whole. One of the most life changing experiences I've had happened at the Home for the Dying, founded by Mother Teresa and her Sisters of Charity. When I asked a nun why she (they) do what they do, her answer was instantanious: "What are we supposed to do? Ignore it?" I learned a valuable lesson that day and it's stuck. NuPath has given me opportunities to make a difference in another person and to not ignore the men and women, old and young, who have so much to offer. I might not make a difference with my name on the big screen but in the life of the person next to me, I can make all the difference in the world.


