I am participating in the 2026 Water Walk because I believe that together, we can make a difference. For the past 5 years, I’ve been collaborating with Villages in Partnership (VIP) and my team members to help bring clean water and other life-changing resources to rural communities in Malawi, Africa.
Through VIP, we focus on six crucial needs for human development: clean water, food security, healthcare, infrastructure, economic opportunity, and education — all beginning with water. Without it, none of the others are possible. In past years, thanks to YOUR generosity, my team and I have raised over $15,000 — funding clean water and new opportunities.
VIP works in the rural villages of Malawi, Africa, partnering with 29 villages and impacting over 24,000 lives. Malawi is one of the poorest countries on earth, with 85% of the population living on less than $1 a day. Yet they have a rich culture and deep hospitality that have earned Malawi the nickname of "The Warm Heart of Africa."
In these rural vilages, VIP has created so many amazing projects, such as a demonstration farm to help Malawians learn sustainable agriculture skills, a health clinic that provides care to those in need, water wells for drinkable water and allowing young girls to attend school every day, and so much more. If you’re able, my team and I would be so grateful for your support once again. Every donation, big or small, truly changes lives.
I am inspired to come alongside the people of Malawi again to aid them in gaining resources that are critical to move from scarcity to sustainability.
