My Fundraising Page
I hope you'll consider donating to my Walk with the Animals fundraising efforts. I can 100% attest that all funds raised for this event and raised in other ways for the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center (MSRPAC) go back to the pets and keeping the Pet Adoption Center open and running.
I recently acheived 3 years of working with this amazing nonprofit. Working at MSRPAC has been amazing. I have learned a lot and worked a lot. Let's see, in addition to the marketing/community relations aspects of my job, I've hosted virtual Big Queen Bingo over Zoon, hosted in person Baby Goat Yoga, hosted Summer Animal Kids Camp (yes - like you, I am still a little surprised by that one), helped kids read to our Center cats (Pac Paws), and even processed a few adoptions. Through it all, I have seen some amazing stories of the pets helped by the organization and even people/community members who support this organization.
It truly is insprining to be at work as there are feel goods happening all around. I've had the pleasure of sharing these feel goods with our supporters (via emails, social media, live videos, etc.) and with my personal circle. I went to LAX to help a special need dog meet his new mom and travel to his new home in Atlanta, I saw the way an always-smiling dog, with a special cart to support his back legs touched everyone he met (including kids from a field trip), and I wrote an appeal to help with covering the cost of heart surgery for a puppy, then had to share the update (with tears in my eyes as I wrote it) that she didn't make it through the surgery. It just boils down to that I've seen so much good while working for MSRPAC. Even though I don't want to get up for work (who really does anyway?) - I almost always leave work feeling good about the work I did or the work we did as a team that day and that is always worth it for me.
My Photos
Keith. This handsome, huggable hunk needs an expensive ear surgery. We're currently raising money for his $7000 total ear canal ablation surgery scheduled for April 20th.
Oreo. The sweetest boy who didn't have the best life before arriving at the PAC. His personality was always a bright, happy one, and now his physical appearance reflects the same.
Pudding - the puppy with a heart murmur. The community came together and raised funds for her surgery. Sadly, she did not make it through.
I invited my friend, Addie to Summer Camp 2018 - now she's a regular.
Oct. 31, 2019 - the day a fire crept up so close to the Center. So thankful to the firefighters who saved our pets.

The Coachella Six Pack of Pups. MSRPAC took in 6 of 38 dogs rescued from dire conditions in an animal cruelty case.
