Mitch Karam lives in Lafayette with his wife, Kelly, son, Hughes, and daughter, Mary-Frances. Mitch was raised in Texarkana, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the E. J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University and is a graduate of the A. B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, where he earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and specializations in Energy and International Business. Mitch’s professional background includes work in corporate finance, private equity, and strategy consulting. Mitch’s community involvement includes being in Leadership Lafayette Class XXXVII, a One Acadiana Ambassador, a member of the Krewe of Bonaparte, a parishioner at St. Mary Mother of the Church, a mentor for the Young Entrepreneurs Academy of Baton Rouge, and a Freeman 50 class representative and Tulane Business Model Competition judge for the Freeman School of Business.
