Rob Kirkpatrick loves Acadiana and the community loves him back. It’s his 5th year as a Shoe Guy, but Rob has supported BBBS for many years since he was introduced to the organization by his friend and long-time volunteer Marcelle Fontenot. With time spent on local TV, radio and contributing to print publications, Rob has come to appreciate the massive impact that local nonprofits can make in the community. He’s the founder and Principal Consultant at KirkpatrickBrands, a strategic communications firm that’s based in Downtown Lafayette. He’s the master of messaging and has helped companies reach audiences around the world. Rob has served as a BIG WIG for Susan G. Komen Foundation. He’s been honored with the 20 Under 40 Award and was a member of Leadership Louisiana Class XXV. Rob is a longtime board member of Maddie’s Footprints and 232-HELP. He’s hosted countless events to raise money for great causes in Acadiana. Though he is not on-the-air every morning anymore he loves to use his (loud and recognizable) voice to amplify the good happening in the Acadiana community.
