Brent P. Broussard, is a Lafayette, Louisiana native, but has also lived in Baton Rouge for a few years before returning to Lafayette. After spending more than a decade in the sales industry, Brent began the entrepreneurial journey to fulfill his true passion, mentoring the next generation. Brent founded The Broussard Enterprise Group, LLC., a small business development and management firm in 2022 that has two entities under the umbrella of the LLC. Those entities are Beads by Brentley, an artisanal handmade jewelry design brand and Acadiana Vanguard Institute for Youth Development, a nonprofit organization that teaches youth ages 10-18 life skills, financial literacy, mental health practices and mentoring. Brent holds certifications in Life and Entrepreneurship and Business Coaching from the Transformation Academy. In addition to embarking on the entrepreneurial journey, Brent is an active member of the Lafayette community. Brent is a founding member of the Northside High School Alumni Association. Brent is a member of the 100 Black Men of Greater Lafayette, Inc., a volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana and current member of the Board of Directors, volunteer instructor for local nonprofit organization Legacy Institute for Economic Attainment and a graduate of Leadership Institute of Acadiana Leadership Lafayette Class XXXVI(36). Brent is also a member of the705, a young professionals group in Lafayette, LA.
