A Note From the Visualizing Palestine Team
In 2025, the VP team worked with over a dozen partners to resource the movement for Palestinian liberation with visual tools that educate, advocate, and demand justice. Our work is not finished. We have to continue to uplift Palestinian experiences and narratives in the quest for justice and freedom from Israeli colonialism, military occupation, and genocide. Over the course of the year, VP created 17 new visuals, updated 4 visuals, and relaunched or updated 2 interactive platforms that cover VP's ambitious editorial priorities. Within these priorities, we've documented Israel's ongoing genocide, uplifted disability justice narratives, highlighted boycott, divestment, and sanction (BDS) wins and opportunities, and more.
In addition to continuing to produce well-researched, thoughtfully designed visual tools, VP developed a downloadable exhibit with the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC), Why We Record. We engaged virtually and in-person with students, activists, educators, movement leaders, and organizers working in their communities to amplify Palestinian narratives. In 2026, we will expand our work with students and develop a university curriculum based on VP’s research and design methodology to increase the capacity of researchers and designers using visual tools to expand and uplift narratives facing erasure.
We are so grateful to our vibrant community. As we look toward 2026, your support remains vital. As Israeli war crimes fade from the headlines, Palestinians continue to face genocide, expulsion, fragmentation, and erasure. Now more than ever, we need you to utilize VP visuals and keep talking about Palestine. And, if you can, please donate to our 2025 year-end fundraiser to enable VP to face an increasingly uncertain and shrinking narrative landscape with courage and dignity.
In solidarity,
The VP Team
