Boston Marathon 2021

When the Boston Marathon returns this October, Kevin Cryan will return to the start line for his second charity run on behalf of the Attleboro Norton YMCA.

This year, Kevin is running to support the Y’s efforts to bring new, state-of-the-art playgrounds to their locations in downtown Attleboro and Norton. As someone who grew up as a Y kid, Kevin knows firsthand how important physical activity and free play in a positive environment can be to kids’ development, confidence, and overall health.

Why should you support Kevin's run and the Y’s Playground Project?

• Lack of physical activity and access to free community play spaces most significantly impacts children from low-income families and minority children.
• The Y’s playground projects will help ensure that a greater number of children in both Attleboro and Norton will have access to free play opportunities.
• More than 35% of the children served by the Attleboro Norton YMCA receive financial assistance to attend our Y, our programs, camps, and child care due to their families’ financial challenges.
