In honor of turning fifty this year, I am doing something special with my good friends from Notre Dame. Our team, the "Dangling Domers" will be participating in "Over the Edge" on October 1, 2021 and rappelling down a building in South Bend, Indiana to raise money for an incredibly worthy cause, the St. Joseph County YSB (Youth Services Bureau). This organization provides support and empowerment for young people who have experienced abuse, neglect, poverty, and homelessness in St. Joseph County. YSB provides safety, shelter and opportunities for success for a wide variety of young people in need. My good friend Kristin Garvey Michel serves as the president of the Board of Directors. She is also the captain of my rappelling team! 

What better way to celebrate a milestone birthday than to raise money with friends for a worthy cause while trying something new and something scary?
