Yep! I'm going "Over the Edge for YSB" again on October 1! You probably wonder why I would do something so crazy. . . imagine with me that YOU are 16 years old. . . your family unit is unstable (because of drugs, alcohol, extreme poverty) or maybe YOU are pregnant. . .  you find yourself living on the street. . . no place to sleep, no food to eat and at risk of physical assault. . . MY HEART BREAKS and I'm sure yours does too! Fortunately, South Bend has YSB. . . they step in when families are unable or unwilling. . . Our youth need champions now, more than ever. Normal life has changed for all of us but this health and economic crisis continues to be be especially cruel to young people in our community who were already struggling with poverty, abuse, neglect and homelessness. I want to help this famulous community organization as they seek to rebuild foundations for young people and strengthen our community. My first goal is $1,000, but my ultimate goal is to beat my total from last year, which means I need to raise $2,500.
