Whether you're a longtime chili champion, trying your hand at a new recipe, or simply coming to sample and vote for your favorites, there's something for everyone.
Every bowl served helps support Variety – the Children's Charity of Iowa and our mission to improve the lives of children who are at-risk, underprivileged, critically ill, or living with special needs. Year after year, this event brings together more than 200 attendees and dozens of chili entries for one unforgettable afternoon of flavor, fun, and fundraising.

At last year’s Young Variety Chili Cook-Off, Oliver received a new gait trainer through Variety’s Mobility Program. The equipment has helped him practice standing, strengthen his muscles and work toward the exciting goal of taking steps on his own.
