For many Black women, finding a space where you are not just "included," but truly seen, heard, and empowered to lead is rare. YW Boston is that space. This organization doesn’t just talk about equity; it builds the infrastructure for it. My journey to becoming Board Chair wasn't an accident—it was the result of YW Boston’s relentless mission to create pathways for people like me to step into our full power.

YW Boston is at the forefront of the work that matters most:

• Eliminating Racism: Through programs like InclusionBoston, we are changing the DNA of Boston’s workplaces.

• Empowering Women: We are specifically focused on the intersectional challenges faced by women of color, ensuring that our city’s leadership reflects its soul.

• Creating Space: We move beyond "seats at the table" to ensure women of color have a hand in building the table itself.
