The YWCA is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families, and strengthen communities. We are one of the oldest and largest women’s organizations in the nation, serving over two-million women, girls and their families. Established in 1916 as a place for women to gather socially. In 1978 we began to serve victims of domestic violence and we continue with this mission today.
