Ella Marz has changed the world in her short 9 years of life.  She has inspired her family, her community, and her friends to love more, to be more, AND to celebrate each other more! She has changed Pete and my life in ways we cannot ever relay adequately in words.  Today, we find ourselves paying that blessing forward through our affiliation with the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin. As members, we support DSAW's goal of helping to change the lives of these wonderful individuals and families across the state.  Whether it is reaching every single newly diagnosed family in the moments following a diagnosis with accurate, unbiased, congratulatory resources, or helping families with potty training, learning how to ride a bike, behavior, school, or the scary transition from high school to adulthood, DSAW is there.  FOR 9 AMAZING YEARS, WE are proud to be part of the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin's Statewide Down Syndrome Awareness Walk and 5K Run, Roll & Stroll because it means so much to us and to our family. TOGETHER, WE HAVE RAISED MORE THAN $9,000 FOR THIS AMAZING ORGANIZATION AND CAUSE.

People with Down syndrome are more ALIKE the rest of us than they are different. They have feelings, talents and dreams just like everyone. They deserve to be accepted and appreciated for who they are and what they contribute to our lives and our communities.
