In need of refresher on the rules of Mah Jongg? Looking to learn about and improve your game strategy? American Mah Jongg 2.0 taught by Sheri will give participants the opportunity to sharpen their skills and advance with some guided play. Participants will get an overview of the NMJL rules, game play, strategy, as well as how to play solo, 2-player, 3-player, keeping score and more! All materials are provided.
Instructor Bio:
Sheri was introduced to the game of Mah Jongg by some friends nearly 20 years ago and has been playing ever since. The sound of the tiles clicking, the fine line between luck and strategy, and the social connection have kept her coming back for more. Though she still plays with the group who introduced her to the game, busy schedules made regular play challenging, which inspired Sheri to begin teaching others how to play. Having recently retired, Sheri was looking for a new group to play with during the day and found many people who wanted to learn which inspired the creation of this class!
