About This Event
Join local artist and instructor Catherine as she guides participants in learning to master watercolor techniques. In this class students will build up their skills, and combine them to create a beautiful and inspiring fall painting. Create a unique Fall wreath featuring twigs, mushrooms, acorns, berries, and grasses. You will learn shading and how to give dimension to your subjects. Use your wreath making skills to make custom cards and seasonal gifts your friends and family will cherish. October 17th 10am-12pm.
This class is open to beginner and intermediate watercolor students. Materials for this class are not provided for this class. Students must bring all required materials. Materials needed:
- Container for water
- Mixing palette
- Watercolor set
- Watercolor brushes
- Heavy watercolor paper
- White paint or pen
- Tracing paper (if you are uncomfortable with drawing)
- Bowl or plastic container to make a large circle for wreath
- Pencil, eraser

Instructor Bio:
Catherine L. Taylor is a mixed media and watercolor artist. A lifelong artist, she discovered watercolor in 2020, during the pandemic. She fell in love with its fluidity and meditative qualities. She now teaches workshops on watercolor as a form of meditation and stress relief for both her and her students.
