About This Event
Join local artist and instructor Catherine as she guides you in using watercolor as a meditative and mindfulness tool. This class focuses on the process of creating and less on the final product. Students will learn several techniques for creating soothing art pieces that are both meditative and beautiful, reflecting your inner world.
Materials for this class are not provided unless a materials kit is purchased with your ticket. Materials needed:
- Container for water
- Mixing palette
- Watercolor set
- Watercolor brushes
- Heavy watercolor paper
- Sharpie/ black pen

Instructor Bio:
Catherine L. Taylor is a mixed media and watercolor artist. A lifelong artist, she discovered watercolor in 2020, during the pandemic. She fell in love with its fluidity and meditative qualities. She now teaches workshops on watercolor as a form of meditation and stress relief for both her and her students.
