In 1894, Emma McVicker founded Neighborhood House to close the gap in education and support between children of the West side of Salt Lake City and children residing in favored neighborhoods. Since then, Neighborhood House has grown to accommodate aging and disabled adults and now provides more wraparound support than ever before.
