Dear Member of the Class of 1970,
On Saturday, June 6th it will be 5 decades since you have received your diploma from Salesian High School. The administration, faculty, and the graduates of the Class of 2020 are excited to welcome you back to our beautiful campus and invite you to install our current graduates to your Alumni organization. We will meet and renew old acquaintances at 10:00 a.m. in the Student Lobby of Salesian High School. At 10:30 a.m., we will begin to line up as a class at Flaherty Hall (the “old” gym). The Class of 1970 will lead the Class of 2020 into the Wiegand Athletic Center and take their designated places. Along with the awarding of diplomas to our young men of Salesian, there will be a special presentation of a Golden Jubilee Diploma to you, as a member of the Class of 1970. Your classmate, The Honorable Daniel Angiolillo, (Danny), will address the graduates and offer them some words of wisdom from you “pioneers” that have come before. Following the Commencement Exercise, you are invited to a special anniversary luncheon with your teachers and invited dignitaries. You and your wife will be the guests of Salesian High School at a local restaurant. A group picture for the 2020 Yearbook will be taken by the Mary Help of Christians statue after the ceremony.
Please register before May 15 th . I want to make sure your “golden” diploma will be ready for the Commencement Exercises.
