Earth Day is on April 20th, an annual and global celebration of environmental protection and conservation. The Roundhouse Aquarium, managed by the Oceanographic Teaching Stations, Inc., will be holding its 2024 Keep it Green, Keep it Clean Earth Day Celebration. The celebration will be in person. The aquarium has partnered with local community groups and school organizations to provide fun, interactive and hands-on activities that promote sustainable living. Activity booths will be set up inside and outside of the Roundhouse Aquarium. Proudly sponsored by Chevron, DiveNSurf, International Cosmetics, the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, the Port of Long Beach, and RAM Insulation Inc., the event is a perfect way for children and adults to celebrate Earth Month!

Don’t miss this year’s 30 minute scheduled activities:

10:30 a.m. Plankton Races

11:00 a.m. Search for dolphins

1:00 p.m. Learn about our fish and watch them eat!
