2025 Agri-Fest Volunteer Sign-Up

Polk County Agri-Fest

MARCH 3rd –  MARCH 7th AND MARCH 10th - 14th, 2024
9:30 a.m. – 12:00 Noon 

Spend the day helping Polk County’s 4^th Graders learn about our diverse Agriculture Industry. Throughout this ten-day field trip, approx. 6,000 students (600 students each day) and their teachers will explore interactive exhibits and attend hands-on workshops each day on citrus, beef cattle, phosphate, small farms, horticulture, and conservation.  Positions include group line leaders, citrus station kitchen assistants, and station helpers. This event is held at the UF/IFAS Polk County Extension Service complex, located at 1702 Hwy 17 South, Bartow, FL 33830.

A Volunteer Training Workshop will be held on Thursday, February 27th, at 3:00 p.m. in the Valencia Room at the Polk County Extension Office, 1702 US Highway 17 South, Bartow. 

However, volunteers are not required to attend the Training Workshop to participate.
