Mitigate
Taking proactive steps to protect people and property, we identify and remove debris in areas affected by wildfires and floods. These mitigation measures help prepare communities for disasters and reduce their destructive impact.
Prepare
By recruiting and training volunteers within the communities they serve and coordinating with provincial and regional emergency managers early on before a crisis, we lay the foundation for a nationally scalable, effective response to future disasters.
Respond
In many communities, those with limited resources—uninsured homeowners, residents in climate-vulnerable areas, and communities caught in a cycle of crisis—are hit hardest. Our teams quickly clear roads to enable first responders' access to hard-hit communities and hazardous debris can be removed to help survivors get back on their feet.
Recover
Disasters don’t end when the storm does. We swiftly transition from immediate response to long-term recovery, helping survivors return to their homes in months rather than years. Removing debris after wildfires, mucking out homes after floods, we are dedicated to the enduring recovery and resilience of the communities we serve.
