Presented by Junior Achievement of Washington

2024 JA Finance Academy Summer Camp Session 1 (July 22-26)

Registration ends Monday, 07/15/2024 11:59pm PDT

About This Event

This summer, you can spend one week fully immersed in career exploration, personal financial planning, and entrepreneurship. Imagine yourself pitching a business idea to a panel of expert judges, Shark Tank-style, creating a real-life budget for your future adult self, and figuring out a career path that aligns with your passions and interests. Designed for students in grades 7-9, this summer camp will give you a foundation for building a successful financial future, including critical decisions related to your career, income, expenses, savings, and credit.

Join JA for an exciting week of activities, including a visit to JA Finance Park, a simulated mini-town where you can practice what you've learned and become an adult for a day. You will wrap up your week with an opportunity to design, develop, and pitch a business idea while collaborating with other students in small groups.

Summer Camps are from 9:00 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday. This is a drop-off camp experience.

Registration includes afternoon snacks, and lunch on Friday.

Note: Refunds are available prior to July 1, less a $25 processing fee for cancellations.

Partial scholarships may be available upon request.
