About This Event

Join Ashton Lamb, Community Coordinator, on a walk to see the new trails at Lake Whelchel! You will get an inside look at the trail before its formally opened. You will also have an opportunity to learn more about the process of building modern natural surface trails for hiking and mountain biking. Lake Whelchel and this new trail segment are a part of the Carolina Thread Trail and Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail.

This will be a moderate difficulty hike.
