On March 18, 1885, The Baltimore Sun printed a notice that Reverend Abraham Bradenbaugh left Virginia to begin missionary work in Baltimore. That spring, his missionary work would quickly become Helping Up Mission. Our work hasn’t changed all that much in 140 years— today we are still restoring hope and rebuilding lives.
