About Us
Founded in 1988, The Worker has been empowering individuals to overcome employment barriers and build lasting independence for over three decades. We deliver hands-on support to connect people—especially those facing housing insecurity, poverty, or reentry from incarceration—to quality jobs, stable housing, and life skills training promoting long-term self-sufficiency.
Our goal is to raise $375,000 to strengthen our employment and housing programs and to purchase, renovate, and launch a new Workforce Village home in Mesa—a place where up to 9 individuals at a time (36 each year) can rebuild their lives through employment and life skills training, housing support, and pathways to lasting stability.
